Chris Allen Persefield, 64, died at 9:16 a.m. Monday, September 2, 2019, at home. Chris was born June 30, 1955, in Peoria.
Chris is survived by two daughters, Amy (Randy) Barger of Bartonville and Savannah Persefield of Galesburg; two granddaughters, Katherine and Kylee Darling; his step-mother, Ila Persefield of Brimfield; Sister Ethel Mae (Andy) Montgomery-Persefield; and a niece, Jessica L. Persefield.
Chris was preceded in death by his father Ivan Persefield and his mother, Bonnie Carpenter Maltsburger. Chris served in the US Army from November 28, 1975, to December 20, 1990.
He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Chris was also quite a craftsman and enjoyed woodworking. He loved all kids and his cats.
