     Chloe Rogers Hansen, 89 years old, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2015 in Littleton, Colorado after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s disease.  She was born May 26, 1926 in Pima, Arizona, the youngest of five children born to Charles Roseberry and Gladys Haws Rogers.

     Chloe was raised in Safford, Arizona.  In addition to going to school, she and her family tended to a small ten acre Dairy.  Daily chores revolved around taking care of cows, chickens and milk delivery.  Her mother taught her all aspects of sewing, needlepoint, crocheting and knitting.  She would often sew clothes for herself, dolls and family members. She participated in 4-H where she was recognized in Chicago for her sewing talents.  She graduated Safford High School and attended Gila Jr. College.

     Chloe and Dean Oliver Hansen were married August 9, 1945 in the Logan Utah LDS Temple.  They were married 44 years until his death November 4, 1989.  Dean and Chloe raised three active boys and had many happy times.  As a family they enjoyed camping, fishing and water skiing.

     Chloe is survived by her three sons Phillip Hansen, Don Hansen (Lisa) and Eric Hansen (Becky); 4 surviving grandchildren Joshua Hansen (Dani), Kristi Pizano, Caleb Hansen (Mindy), Seth Hansen (Patti); 7 surviving great grandchildren Drew Hansen, Cash Hansen, Anthony Pizano, Isabella Hansen, Ainsley Hansen, Sophia Pizano and Zachary Hansen, who lovingly call her GG.  Chloe is also survived by her loving sister Garna Taylor of Mesa, Arizona.  Chloe is preceded in death by her husband Dean Hansen; parents Charles Rogers and Gladys Rogers; three siblings Walter Rogers, Clara Toronto and Della Denham; one grandchild Clint Hansen; and one great grandchild Gabriella Hansen.
