Chloe Mae Garrett Williams, 77, Anderson, passed away May 21, 2010 at her residence after an extended illness.
She was born March 2, 1933 in Oakville, Indiana, and lived in Anderson for most of her life. A graduate of Cowan High School, she retired from Delco Remy Division of General Motors after 38 1/2 years of service. Chloe was a member of U.A.W. Local #662, and A.B.W.A.. She was an avid reader, gardener and loved her flowers. Survivors include her husband of 31 years, Jack Williams; children, Walter Ormes of LaCrosse, WI, Connie Dunn of Anderson, Tracy Smith-Morrison of Anderson, Lisa Lazensky, husband, Kevin of Barto, PA, Carolyn Ray of Bradenton, FL, Linda Voss, husband, Tim of Sarasota, FL and Jack F. Williams of Lakeland, FL; brother, Bob Garrett, wife, Jean of Crawfordsville; twelve grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter & Bernice Rinker Garrett; brothers, Cletus Garrett & Darwin “Dink” Garrett; and a sister, Marcella Umberger.
