Born in LaGrange, she is the daughter of the late Boise Hargrove and Georgia Perry Hargrove and the wife of the late Herman Best Sr.
Cherished memories will linger in the hearts of her sons, Harold Lee Best of Jacksonville, FL., Herman Best Jr. (Joyce) of Kinston and Ricky Best (Carolyn) of Goldsboro; special son, Cortez Chapman (Teresa) of LaGrange; fifteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she has been reunited with her son, Irving Berlin Perry and great-great granddaughter,Miamor.
