He was a native of New Plymouth. Chet was born on November 27, 1985 in Ontario, Oregon to Rod and Darla Johnson of Payette, Idaho.
Chet was a 2004 graduate of New Plymouth High School. He was a cattleman and cowboy. He took great pride and passion in all of his endeavors, including his working cow dogs, horses, cattle and especially his family and friends.
Chet was also an avid hunter and outdoorsman who was happiest in the mountains surrounding New Meadows, Idaho.
