Chester Larry Dickens of Union Point, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at Greene Point Health Care & Rehabilitation in Union Point, GA at the age of 83. A lifelong resident of Greene County he was born October 15, 1936 in Union Point to the late Chester and Fannie Mae Dickens and attended school in Union Point. He began his working career with JEBCO in Warrenton, GA and was later employed with Chipman Union retiring in 2001.
He is survived by his daughter and her husband, Janice and Ricky Dingler of Union Point, GA; grandchildren, Brandi Dingler Morgan (Mac) of Statham, GA and Christopher Dingler (Daina) of Union Point, GA; his great grand children, Jackson and Maddie Dingler of Union Point, GA and Kate and Kessler Morgan of Statham, GA. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Lunceford Dickens and his brothers, Perry Dickens and Darryl Dickens.
