“Chet” Chester Joseph Rueb, Jr., born June 23, 1945, passed away on Monday, June 13, 2016. He was the beloved son of Amy Husser Rueb and the late Captain Chester Joseph Rueb, Sr. He will be sorrowfully missed by his wife, Beverly Clement Rueb , his son, Brian Rueb (Margarita Villalon), daughter Melissa Rueb Duhe (Barry) and his sister, Jennifer Rueb. Chet had one granddaughter Kristin Cloud LaBranche (Frans) and three great-grandchildren, Wolfgang, Harlan and Phoenix. Chet is preceded in death by his sister, Dianne Rueb Lopreore and brother James Rueb. He had two nephews, Chris Lopreore and Anthony Montalbano, Jr (Ashley Thompson) and two nieces Courtney Lopreore and Vickie Montalbano. Chet grew up in the Gentilly area of New Orleans. He served honorably in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.
