Cheryl R. Weed 69, of Hoffman, passed away on Thursday, August 16, 2018, at Freeburg Care Center in Freeburg, Illinois surrounded by her family. Cheryl was born June 2, 1949, in Salem, Illinois, the daughter of Raymond Fry and Betty J. (Smith) Fry.
She married Raymond Silvey and they later divorced and he survives her in Odin, Illinois. On July 5, 2002, in Branson, Missouri she married Charley Weed and he preceded her in death on January 14, 2012.
Cheryl is survived by one son: Jeff Silvey and wife Julie of Glen Carbon, Illinois; one daughter: Kim Kerley, and husband Steve of Smithton, Illinois; four granddaughters: Makenzie, Megan, and Macy Silvey, and Savannah Kerley; multiple nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Raymond and Betty Fry; husband: Charley Weed; two uncles: Paul (Delano) Smith and Jim Smith; one nephew: Keith Hodge. Cheryl was a member of the Open Arms Fellowship in Salem, Illinois. She was a private caregiver in Centralia, Illinois for 25 years. Most of all, Cheryl enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
