Cheryl Marie Patterson, 72, passed away Saturday, December 18, 2021, at MercyOne West Des Moines Medical Center in West Des Moines, IA.
Cheryl was born March 28, 1949, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Elmore and Doris (Miller) Forrest. She married William F. Patterson in November of 1983. Cheryl had worked at Merry Maids for several years and later worked at Calvin Community from where she retired.
Cheryl enjoyed roller skating and watching old westerns.
Cheryl is survived by her seven children, Vicki (Robert Green) Patterson of Booneville, IA, Jeffery (Karen) Patterson of West Des Moines, IA; Patricia Halligan of Ankeny, IA, Kimberly Patterson of Naperville, IL, Sandra Deppe of Newton, IA; James Oakley, and Melissa (Eric) Stockman of De Soto, IA; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and her brother, Craig (Marge) Forrest of Urbandale, IA. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bill and her grandson, Gregory Patterson.
