Cheryl M. Frakes Schiller, 75, went to be with the Lord on March 3, 2022. Her parents are Bertha Parker and Earl Frakes, Sr. She was born in Des Moines, Iowa on September 2, 1946. She is an alumnus of Phoenix school in West Des Moines.
She graduated from Des Moines Technical High School. She started her career at Look Magazine in Des Moines.
She met her husband Ron at Look. They were blessed with 2 children, Ron Jr. and Randal (deceased).
She attended DMACC and had several bookkeeping and accounting jobs. She is a past president of the Mercy Hospital Guild. She also assumed many volunteer jobs. She also taught Junior Bowling at Val Lanes in West Des Moines. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Mission Cancer & Blood for their great care & compassion since 2003.
Cheryl is survived by her husband Ron, son Ron Jr. (D’Anne), mother Bertha Parker (Dick), granddaughter Karissa Schiller, grandson Kyle (Rachel) Schiller, granddaughter Krystyn Schiller, great-granddaughter A Jay. Sisters Carol Palmer and Bea Fouche, brothers Tom (Marsha) Frakes, Tim (Christine) Frakes, Mike Schiller, Edward (Debbie) Schiller, Jr., many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. Social distancing and masks are encouraged.
