Cheryl Lucille Streit, 74, of Ashland, Ohio, passed peacefully into the arms of The Lord on July 9th, 2021. She was surrounded by her beloved family.
Cheryl was born at her family farm in Mansfield, Ohio on October 31, 1946 to Earl and Helen Fulwider.
Cheryl graduated from Union High School in 1964. She married Richard Streit on October 22nd, 1982.
Cheryl was employed for 39 years at Hospira Inc. where she worked as a quality control inspector.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Larry (Theresa) Fulwider and granddaughter, Bethany Ann Marker.
She is survived by her husband, Richard, brother, Robert Fulwider, sisters, Elinor (Skip) Spehar, Phyllis (Harold) Patton, daughters, Tracy Milburn, Michele Marker and Laura Streit (Ben Lanzer). Additionally, Grandchildren, Mallory Messner, Josh Marker (Jenn), Hannah Campbell (Brandon), Jordan Milburn, Madison Lingo (Jacob Bateman), Adalene Ramey, Samuel Willoughby and Ivan Lanzer. Cheryl has 8 great-grandchildren and many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.
Cheryl, before all, was a devout follower of Christ. Every day she grew stronger in her love and faith in Him. Second to her faith she was a loving mother to many beyond her own children and a doting grandmother.
Cheryl was also an avid crafter, homemaker, gardener and loyal friend. She enjoyed making people smile, connecting with friends and seeing the beauty in every moment.
The void she leaves behind is great but her legacy lives on in all she has touched.
