On July 14, 2020, Cherie passed peacefully while comforted by her family.  She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother & great grandmother.  During her 73 years, she touched many lives with her smile & joyful spirit. She had a vivacious personality like bubbles in champagne – sparkly and effervescent! She was loving, caring, & always happy for everyone’s accomplishments.  She welcomed everyone into her life with open arms, along with all the neighborhood cats. Cherie devoted herself to her family, showering them with love & care. She was cherished by family & friends alike. Once a friend always a friend.

Cherie is survived by her husband of 54 years Guy “Billy” Chapparo, brother Jack Ludlow, her 2 daughters Sharlee Chapparo & Chayni Richardson, 3 Granddaughters – Kyndall Adams (Sharlee), Taylor & Lexi Richardson (Chayni), 2 Grandsons – Tony Jones Jr. (Chayni) and Kobe Adams (Sharlee), a great granddaughter Hazel Jones and numerous nieces, nephews & cousins.

Cherie was born in Pueblo, CO where she graduated from Central High (1965) & married the love of her life Bill (Billy, Chip).  They met at Corwin Jr High & married in July of 1966. Cherie & Bill moved to Colorado Springs in the fall of 1969 then to Woodland Park, Colo, then to Manitou Springs, Colo. where they resided until 1985 when they moved to Scottsdale, AZ with their two daughters.  Cherie worked as a hairstylist & eventually opened 2 hair salons in Old Town Scottsdale.  She sold her salons & retired in 2010 allowing her free time for shopping with friends, her second love cooking & of course enjoying her family, which meant the world to her.

She will be intensely missed & always shine brightly in our hearts. Cherie was one of a kind.
