Cheryl Bodry Mason, 58, of Memphis, TN, wife of Mark S. Mason, formerly of Jacksonville, IL passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at her home.
A native of Tennessee, Cheryl graduated from Ridgeway High School in Memphis, TN and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Child Psychology and in Early Childhood Development from the University of Tennessee.
She had a passion for floral design, yet her greatest passion was teaching pre-school for over twenty years. She was a member of Faith Christian Church. Following their marriage on March 1, 2008, she thoroughly enjoyed visits to Jacksonville with her husband and oft remarked that she would like to make it her home someday.
She is survived by her husband, Mark, who was raised and educated in Jacksonville where he was involved in Boy Scout Troop 107 and Central Christian Church. She is also survived by her mother, Betty Bodry; her daughter, Lindsey Drury; her granddaughter, Stellaina Drury; and in the Jacksonville area, her sister-in-law, Marcia Gillespie (husband, Mark) and stepmother-in-law, Evelyn Mason.
She was preceded in death by her father, David Bodry and her parents-in-law, Roy F. and Doris J. Mason.
