Cheryl Beth Cook Bowman passed away after a long illness at 7:45 p.m. October 5, 2011 in Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born on February 21, 1966 in Terre Haute to John V. Cook III and Carol L. Childress Cook.
Cheryl is survived by her parents; daughter, Megan Nicole Bowman; sister, Laura Ann Cook Thompson and husband Stephen; nieces, Miranda Leigh Thompson and Carly Marie Thompson and ex-husband George William Bowman. She is also survived by seven aunts, six uncles and twenty five cousins.
Cheryl was a 1984 graduate of Terre Haute North Vigo High School and attended Indiana State University School of Nursing. She was a dear friend to many.
