Cherry Ann Alma Fisher, age 85, Cottonwood Heights, Utah, died Sunday, January 5, 2020, from respiratory failure.

Cherry Ann Alma was born on March 18, 1934 in Pocatello, Idaho to Evelyn Crotts and Norman Alma.  She lived her childhood years in Davis County, Utah with her mother and stepfather, Clarence Bishop.

Cherry graduated from Davis High School. She married Blen D. Nance in Coalville, Utah on September 10, 1951. They raised their four children in Brigham City, Utah. They were later divorced.

She married Gordon James Fisher on January 17, 1975 in Brigham City, Utah.

Not only was Cherry busy as a mom, she worked as an executive assistant at Thiokol Chemical Corporation. She earned an Associate Degree from Weber State College and used her LPN skills as a volunteer at the Rehoboth Native American Christian School in New Mexico. She also worked as an office manager at Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge. Cherry was an avid skier for many years. She had world-class seamstress and knitting skills and created many beautiful items for herself and others.

Cherry is survived by her children: DeLonie (Robert) Call; Mel (Karen) Nance; Wendy (Joseph) Morgan; Kelly David Nance; Chris (Leslie) Fisher; Jim Fisher; Phil Fisher; Mike (Sharon) Fisher and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon, and by her parents.
