Chencie V. Tobler, 95, of Three Oaks, Michigan, died Monday morning, April 18, 2005 at Hamilton Communities in New Carlisle, Indiana. Mrs. Tobler was born June 5, 1909 in Chicago, Illinois to Salvatore and Sarafina (Rotolo) Lococo.

She moved to the Michiana area in the 1940’s and on June 25, 1949, she married Michael Tobler in New Buffalo, Michigan. Mr. Tobler preceded her in death on October 2, 1991. She made her home in rural Three Oaks. Mrs. Tobler was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Three Oaks. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and crocheting.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Howard Phillips of Three Oaks; grandchildren, Marina and Deanna Phillips, sisters, Cecelia Tristano and Marie Pacente, both of Chicago; her brothers, Joseph Lococo of Chicago and James Lococo of Kenosha, Wisconsin and her extended family. She was preceded in death by seven sisters.
