Chelsey Brewer Silmon was born on August 19, 1982 in Merriam Kansas to John and Mary Brewer. She graduated from Clarke County High School in May 2000 and attended Auburn University. She was currently enrolled in Amberton University in Texas, where she was obtaining her Bachelors of Science Degree.
On December 20, 2001, Chelsey and John Whittaker became proud parents of Faith Elizabeth Whittaker in Jackson, AL.
On April 22, 2018, Chelsey married Minister Derrick Silmon and both were current members of New Life Worship Center in FortWorth, TX. As a member of New Life Worship Center, Chelsey was a part of the Intercessory Prayer Team. Chelsey was also the Owner and Operator of Kingdom House Entertainment where she hosted Christian events in Alabama and Texas. Chelsey was known for her wonderful personality and her traveling spirit. One of her wishes was to travel the world.
Chelsey was preceded in death by her son Eden Wade Jackson; and grandparents, Fred and Margaret (Coco) Deese Lewis and John L. Brewer Sr.
She departed this life alongside her daughter Faith Whitaker on Monday, October 15, 2018 in Texas. Her Christian life and her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her.
