On August 22, 1964, she was married to Kenneth G. Goolsby, who preceded her in death in 1996. Charmion’s family includes her children: Sean (Karen) Goolsby and Shannon Goolsby; her step-son Scott (Cindy) Goolsby; her five grandchildren; her 4 great-grandchildren; her sister Valoyce (Wilson) Dean; and several nieces and nephews.
