Charlotte S. Marmo, 88, of Beacon passed away on January 6th, 2018 at Vassar Brothers Hospital. Charlotte was born on March 23rd, 1929 to David and Hattie Sternberg Stein. She was employed at Fishkill OBGYN for many years as a receptionist. Charlotte is survived by her daughters Lisa Frost and Ron of Beacon and Beth Hedges of Connecticut. She is also survived by her grandchildren who she adored, Ronnie Frost and wife Kristy, Derrick Frost and fiancé Allison Wiand, granddaughter Kimberly Quinlan and husband Tom, great grandchildren Caden, Taylor, Danny and Reiley. Charlotte is also survived by twin brother Arthur Stein and spouse Matt Cervenka of Virginia and brother Theodore Stein of Maryland. She will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Charlotte had many, many dear friends including long time best friend Judy Ogley of Beacon and friend and neighbor Nancy Eraca of Beacon. She was predeceased by her brother Marvin Stein and sister in laws Ellen Stein and Ann Stein. Charlotte will forever be remembered for her intelligence, witty humor and unconditional care for others. She was always willing to give all that she could to help those in need and these selfless acts were felt by many in the community. Her greatest joys in life were the successes and accomplishments of her children and grandchildren.
