Charlotte M. Smith, 84, formerly of 311 Eastern St., New Haven passed away March 21, 2013 in The Arden House, Hamden after a lengthy illness. Born in West Haven on May 8, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Thomas J. Smith Sr. and Kathryn Schegal Adinolfi. Prior to her retirement, she was a medical technologist for Metpath Laboratory. She is survived by a nephew, Thomas J. Smith III of Palmetto, Florida. She was predeceased by her brother, Thomas J. Smith Jr. and a nephew, Arthur R.C. Smith.
