Charlotte Ann Minnich, age 89, passed away September 1, 2016 in Newnan Ga. She and her beloved husband, H. L., had celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary this year at Wesley Woods of Newnan. Charlotte was born July 25, 1927 in Knoxville, TN to James Brandau Jones and his wife, Lucy Edna Lloyd Jones. Charlotte received her music degree at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music in 1950, and went on to teach piano and voice to many students over 40 years. She also performed on stage, directed church choirs, and wrote music. Charlotte was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, whose love of God and family was seen by all who knew her. Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Robert Jones, and her daughter, Susan Lee Knight. She is survived by husband, Harland Lee Minnich, Jr.; daughter, Beverly Ann and her husband, Barry Simmons; her son, Dr. Thomas E. Minnich and his wife, Candice. Grandchildren include Cole Simmons, Caitlin Simmons, Laura Beth Meyer, Parke Minnich, and Joshua Lance. Great-grandchildren are Zoe, Zane, and Bruce Simmons.
