CHARLOTTE MAY WHALE, born in Cleveland, OH on April 9, 1925 passed away peacefully on July 20, 2022. Predeceased by her husband, Clarence F. Whale, Jr. to whom she was married for 62 years. Also, four children, Casandra (Candy) Jackson (Bill), William (Rick), (Monika), Douglas, deceased and Michael (Michelle) Whale. Two baby daughters, Nancy Jeanne and Cheryl Ann, preceded her in death. She was also blessed with six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Charlotte was the daughter of Carl and Lila Jafvert. She had one brother, Charles Jafvert, deceased. Charlotte graduated from John Adams High School where she was a member of the National Honor Society and multiple student organizations. Charlotte dedicated her life to caring for her family and was an avid Bridge player. After retiring to Florida, Charlotte returned to Ohio to be closer to her family. She enjoyed a good crossword puzzle and a ball game on TV. She would cook wonderful meals every holiday and was happiest when her family was all together to celebrate an occasion. Charlotte was involved in multiple church groups and civic organizations to help better the community wherever she lived. She always wanted the best for her family, taught them right from wrong, was a positive guiding force for her children and grandchildren whether they liked it or not, and loved each of them unconditionally. She was dearly loved by her family, had countless life long friends, and was greatly respected for her unwavering dedication to her family values and kindness to everyone she encountered. The world was a better place with Charlotte in it. She will be missed greatly by all who knew her.
