Charlotte Louise Ludwig (nee Brown), 83, of Taneytown, died on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at home surrounded by her family. She was born on June 11, 1938 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Robert and Erna (Voss) Brown. Her husband of 61 years, Frederick Donald (Don) Ludwig passed away just 34 days before her.

She is survived by three children, Jeffrey Ludwig of Florida, Michael Ludwig and wife Sharon of Minnesota, and Stacie Dowling and husband Gregory of Taneytown, Maryland; five grandchildren, Brandon Ludwig and fiancé Morgan Zeberlein, Nathaniel Dowling and wife Emili, Amelia Dowling, Megan Ludwig, Rachel Ludwig and fiancé Trenton Bless; great-grandson Colton Ludwig.

She met Don, while both working at Baltimore Gas and Electric. She was also employed at the corporate offices for (1) Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company in Columbia, Maryland and (2) London Fog in Eldersburg, Maryland in the payroll departments. Charlotte managed Travel For You, a travel agency in the White Marsh Mall that she and Don owned until her retirement. She was a lifelong Lutheran and a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Westminster, Maryland. She and Don loved travelling especially cruising with close friends and visited many countries around the world. She also enjoyed spending time with the Red Hat Ladies as well.
