Charlotte M. “Sheri” (Putnam) Lefferson, 88, of Bloomington, passed away peacefully in her home on July 17th 2011. She was born in Indianapolis on July 29, 1922 to the late William and Lacy Mae Putnam. Sheri was the youngest child and had four sisters and one brother all who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Edgar Lefferson. Sheri and Ed were founder and owner of Lefferson Radio TV Sales and Service for 49 years. She was a cofounder of Spiritual Upreach Inc. and also a member of the Culla Vayhinger chapter of the Women’s Christian Church Temperance Union. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and also a member of Unity Church of Bloomington. Sheri’s love for music allowed her to write and arrange much of her own music. She also played the piano and organ for church services. Sheri is survived by nieces, Carolyn Gibson and Mary Putnam, nephews, Carl Andrews (Bonnie), Gary Putnam and Bill Totten. Special thanks from the family go to caregivers, Vicky, Mae, Candy, Tameka, Mea, Miranda, Ann, Whitley, Mary, Fay, Sarah, Cathy and Doris who gave Sheri such loving care in her final days.
