WASHINGTON…Charlotte L. Poehlman, 65, of Washington, passed away at 6:50 p.m., Saturday, July 18, 2015 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Char was born on September 9, 1949 in Pekin to Gene and Dorothea (Kern) Erwin. She married Robert Poehlman in Washington on November 3, 1973. Bob survives.
Also surviving are their three children, Nathan (Stacy) Poehlman of Bakersfield, California, Tami (Bradley) Smull of St. Louis and Matthew (Veronica) Poehlman of Washington; one brother, Leonard (Bridget) Erwin of Lewistown; one sister, Rebecca Erwin of Washington and six loving grandchildren, Alex, Zach, Katie, John, Andy and Hope.
Char had worked for many years as a legal secretary at various law firms in the area. She received her Associates Degree from Robert Morris College and later earned her Bachelors Degree from Sangamon State University.
