Charlotte Hullett Blalock, 71 of Fort Oglethorpe, GA, died on Monday, August 15, 2011 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of the late Wallace and Zenade Race Hullett and was a lifelong resident of the Rossville area. Charlotte and her late husband, Willard “Bill” Blalock, owned Charlotte’s Mobile Home Park for over 30 years. She loved to travel, especially to the beaches, enjoying the water and also loved a good bargain. Charlotte attended Central High School and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sgt. Willard W. “Bill” Blalock. Survivors include her daughters, Nancy (Mitch) Woods, East Brainerd and Kathy Blalock, Rossville; sister, Anna (Bob) Wilson, Columbus, GA; step-sister, Rebecca (Jeff) Lowery, Chattanooga; grandchildren, Amber Stonecipher, Fort Oglethorpe, Zack Woods, East Brainerd, Autumn Cox, Chattanooga, Shadow Cox, Fort Oglethorpe and Elizabeth Woods, East Brainerd; great-granddaughter, Kylie Woods, East Brainerd; niece, Wendy (Shane) Irvin, Columbus, GA; great nephews, Donovan and Harrison Irvin, both of Columbus, GA and her beloved animals, Taco and Sylvia.
