Charlotte Wasmuth Meyers, 96 of Oshkosh, WI and formerly of Huntington, IN, passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2013 in Oshkosh, WI.

Charlotte was born May 22, 1917 in Edinburgh, IN to John Francis and Lenore Burnam Hyde. Her parents preceded her in death. She was married to Robert Edmund Wasmuth June 20, 1940 and moved to Huntington, IN where she lived until she moved to Oshkosh, WI in January 2002. Robert passed away in September 1963 and Charlotte married Gordon Meyers in January 1966. He passed away in January 1990.

Charlotte was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Huntington, IN. She was a social worker and placed children in adoptive homes. She graduated from Franklin College, Franklin, IN in 1939 and was a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority. In Huntington, she was active in her church and several women’s organizations.

Survivors include two daughters, Suzanne Wasmuth, Oshkosh, WI, Sally Jane and Husband Bob Kahly of Tustin, MI; and a step daughter-in-law Janet Meyers of Fort Wayne, IN. Grandsons are Spencer (Jennifer) Kahly of Battle Creek, MI and Rylan (Rebecca) Kahly, of Rodney, MI, step-grandchildren, Lynn (Vincent) Mattina of Long Beach, CA, Margo (Nelson) Concepcion of Indianapolis, IN and Rick Meyers of Fort Wayne, IN. Great grandchildren Landon, Wyatt and Ava Charlotte, Jonah, Simon and Abram Kahly. Step-great granddaughters are Kristyn (Ronnie) McCulley, Shelby and Cori Concepcion.

She was preceded in death by an infant son at birth, her step son Raymond Meyers December 2011 and three sisters Frances McCracken, Harriet Phillips, and Julie Hollingsworth.
