Charlotte Schmidt was born February 10,1931 at the Hamilton County Hospital in Webster City, Iowa, to Harold Frank and mildred (Adams) Entriken.
Charlotte is preceeded in death by her husband, LeRoy William (Smitty) Schmidt.
She married LeRoy Friday, 13 September 1957. They have 2 sons: Dale Entriken Schmidt (Jana) and they have children, Dustin, Kelsey and Nicole.
Dustin married Rebecca (Hart) and they have a son Malcolm. Kelsey married Paul Phillips and have children, Abigail, Issac, Wesley and Evelyn. Nicole married Dwayne Gruver and have a daughter, Annalene.
William Frank Schmidt married Loretta (Pottberg) and have 3 girls, Sarah, Courtney and Jessie.
Before coming to Colorado, Charlotte worked at the National Chiropractic Association in Webster City, Iowa. She also worked at a local plumbing Company 25 years as a full charge bookkeeper.
She joined the Kinnikinnik Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and served on various committees.
She worked in the Literacy Challenge Committee teaching English as a second language.
She has a sister, Marlys Klein (Robert) and a brother David (Cheri) Entriken
Charlotte has 3 great grandsons and 3 great granddaughters.
