Charlotte A. McCreary Broyles, 69, Anderson, passed away February 9, 2012 at her residence after an extended illness. She was born February 12, 1942 in Anderson, and resided in Madison County all of her life. She retired as a nurse from Community Hospital in Anderson after 25 years of service. Charlotte attended the First United Methodist Church in Alexandria and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Anderson. She was a member of Al-Anon and Knit-wits of Madison County.
She is survived by her mother, Betty Dehority McCreary of Anderson; brother, Carroll McCreary Mary of Silver Lake; daughters, Kelly Flores of Anderson, Kristin Roberts of Anderson and Kerry Thorpe of Raleigh, North Carolina; grandchildren, Caleb Scott, Chelsea Scott, Elijah Dunn, Patrick, Irish and Duncan Broyles, Amber Carpenter and Craig Carpenter, Sierra and Sydney Thorpe; great grandson, Jaylen Scott and one on the way; several loved nieces and nephews; and dear friend, Duane Lamberjack.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph McCreary; and son, Nathan Broyles.
