Mrs. Charline D. Roberson, age 90, of Anderson, South Carolina passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson, South Carolina.
Mrs. Roberson was born on January 3, 1926 in Shawmut, Alabama to the late Charlie Henry Davis and Caddie Lee Humphrey Davis.
She is survived by two daughters, Brenda (Richard) Masters, Anderson, SC, Kay (E.T. “Butch”) Embler, Anderson, SC; son, James Roy (Suzanne) Roberson, Auburn, Alabama; grandchildren, Lance (Cindi) Masters, Bret B. Masters, Ryan (Kali) Masters, Leigh (Mark) Embler Kennedy, Jason T. Embler, Julie (Chris) Roberson O’Toole, Jennifer (Richard II) Roberson Navickas; 11 great-grandchildren; special friends, P.J. Ward, Susan Embler, Nancy Hall, David Bowden.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Grover G. Roberson, Jr. and a brother, Jesse L. Davis.
Mrs. Roberson was a member of the North Anderson Baptist Church, Anderson, SC, and a former member of the Shawmut First Baptist Church.
She was retired from the textile industry.
