Minister Charlie Nathaniel Gholston, was born to the late Mrs. Sara Wallace Gholston and Mr. Charlie Council Gholston on November 21, 1961 in Morgan County, Alabama. He departed this life and entered eternal rest on September 4, 2022 in Huntsville, AL.
Minister Gholston confessed hope in Christ at an early age and was under the leadership of Pastor Arthur L. Warrior at Progressive Outreach Church. He was a loyal and faithful member for over twenty years. Charlie was a loving husband, father, uncle, brother and friend.
He was a member of the MAC Riding High Motorcycle Club of Moulton, Alabama.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Victor Ray Gholston, Wesley Gholston, Tim Gholston; his sisters, Valerie Brown and Annette Gholston Burney;
Minister Gholston leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Denise Sandford Gholston; daughters, Shahira Sanford, Tamela (Chris) Hampton; sons, Ezekiel Gholston, Charlie Gholston, Jr., and Jarvis Goodwin Gholston; five grandchildren; four sisters, Lisa Gholston Orr, Jennifer Anderson (Fred), Jacquline Gholston and Angelia Townsend, all of Decatur; two brothers, Thomas Townsend of Florence AL and Andre Gholston of Reynolds, OH; one brother-in-law, Guy Brown of Decatur; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
