Charlie Arthur Taylor
Charlie Arthur Taylor, of Crawfordville, GA, died Saturday, August 24, 2019, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was 75. Charlie was born in Washington, GA on July 6, 1944 to the late Arthur Greene Taylor and Winnie Mae McDaniel Taylor. In 1962 Charlie graduated from Alexander Stephens Institute in Crawfordville. On October 18, 1996 he married the former Donna Lankford Peterman. For 32 years he worked for Novelis Corp. in Greensboro retiring in 2009.
In addition to his wife, Donna Taylor of Crawfordville, GA, he is survived by his stepchildren, David Peterman, Sr. and Julie Peterman Christensen (Erik); step-grandchildren, David Peterman II and Jackson Christensen; brother, Bobby Taylor (Linda); sister, Joan Taylor Nicholson; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Charles Mitchell “Mitch” Taylor and a sister, Jean Taylor Godsey.
