Charles William “Chuck” Fletcher, 82, of Greenwood passed away Thursday at Community Hospital South.
He was born July 28, 1932, to Charles W. and Catherine Fletcher in Lorain, Ohio.
Charles was the Business Manager at Smart and Perry Ford (later Jack Smart Ford) automotive dealership and later had his own home maintenance and repair business. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Chuck loved fishing, doing home improvement projects, and reading history, particularly about the Civil War and World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Fletcher of Greenwood; son, Larry Fletcher of Greenwood; daughter, Kathy Fletcher of Bloomington; sister, Joan Robinette of Bloomfield; and three grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
