Charles White, Sr. 57, of Centralia passed away July 19, 2013 at his home.
Charles was born October 16, 1955 in Vandalia, son of Raymond Jennings White and Dorothy (Rufus) White. He married Lorene Marke on May 24, 1975 in Shobonier and she survives in Centralia.
In addition to his wife of 38 years, he is also survived by a son, Charles White, Jr. of Centralia; two daughters: Tammy Ervin and husband Stuart of Centralia and Christie Cline of Centralia; 8 grandchildren: Tyler Back, Blake Back, Haylei Cline, Angel Cline, Alex Ervin, Lalah Ervin, Brenton Ervin and Andrew Ervin; 1 great-grandchildren, Jaycee Back; 4 brothers: Ray White and wife Sue, Dick White and wife Sherill, Ed White and wife Shirley and Bob White and wife Janet; 4 sisters: Donna Lester, Patty Swofford, Stella Rogers and Beverly Brewbaker and husband Charlie; several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers: Jerry, Raymond, Robert and Arthur and a sister, Carol.Charles was a member of Orchardville Church. He enjoyed being outside working on lawn mowers and the grandkids bicycles. He also like to watch the birds and making wind chimes. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends.
