Mr. Charles Wayne Smith, 74, passed away Friday, December 4, 2020 surrounded by his family at his home in Newnan. He was born June 14, 1946 in Manchester, GA to the late Malcolm Perry Smith, Sr. & Pearl Frances Culberson Smith. He will be remembered as a family man who had a deep love for his family. Wayne enlisted in the Marines and served honorably in Vietnam. He retired as a rural mail carrier with the Unites States Post Office. Survivors include wife of 52 years, Sherry Boswell Smith; children, Shawn (Jim) Morgan, Kim (Frank) Jones, Casey (Marlo) Smith, Jody (Rachael) Smith; grandchildren, Chris (Rebecca) Wade, Cory Wade, Jessica (Ryan) Frost, Jake Smith, Hannah (Trey) Wood, Luke Jones, Noah Jones, Jennifer Smith, Cassie (Matt) Brown; eight great-grandchildren; siblings, Billy (Betty) Smith, Jimmy Smith, Brenda Clark; numerous nieces and nephews.
