Charles “Wayne” Mosier Sr., 69, of Ottawa, died on Friday, May 16, 2014 at his home.
Wayne was born on April 29, 1945, in Seneca, to Lester and Mildred (Wheeler) Mosier. He retired from Solitron Microwave Incorporated as a machine operator after 30 years of service. Wayne worked at the visitor center in Ottawa. He also loved photography, prospecting and snakes.
His favorite places included the ocean, the mountains and the Nevada deserts. Wayne is survived by 3 children, Charles W. Mosier Jr, Tina M. Turner both of Reno, NV and Jason L. Mosier, of Melborne, FL, 16 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 3 brothers James (Judy) Mosier, John “Jack” (Viola) Mosier, Robert Dale Mosier and 2 sisters Linda (Ken) Caise, of Ottawa and Mary Ellen Weyand, of Ottawa. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Don Mosier and a sister Josie Rick.
