Charles Walter Jordan, age 57, resident of Semmes, AL, departed this life on Friday, September 30, 2016 at his home.
Charles was a member of Life Church. He loved the Lord, his God. He was a man of faith and especially during his illness, he took every opportunity to share Jesus with others around him and encouraged them to give all their problems to Jesus. Charles was a patient man, a thoughtful and loving husband and considerate and kind to others. He was a tremendous blessing to his wife Barbara and her family as he helped to care for her father.
He loved to fish and enjoyed the mountains with Barbara, his wife during the Fall season. He also enjoyed collecting coins, playing board games, t.v. game shows and video games.
Charles was employed by Wal-Mart in Semmes, Al. in 2008. He loved his job in the Garden Center and loved the Associates whom he worked with and was loved by them and was considered to be a very valuable and indispensable employee.
Mr. Jordan is preceded in death by his mother, Ann Marie Jordan and his father Julian Jordan. He leaves behind his loving wife Barbara Jordan, his brother; Gene (Barbara) Jordan, his sister; Theresa Jordan, nieces; Angela, Kate,Liz, Theresa, Carla, Cheyanne, and AnnMarie, nephews; Will, Ross, and Ryan, Aunts, Uncles, and many other family and friends.
