Charles (Chuck) W. Stuck, age 80, of Ashland, passed away on Sunday, September 12. Chuck was born November 15, 1929 in Uniontown, PA.

He was a sergeant in the US Army and moved to Cleveland shortly after completing his service. He held a variety of accounting positions and earned his BS in Accounting, a MBA, CMA and a CPA license. During his career, he held staff and management positions with many regional companies.

He moved to Ashland in the late 80s where he was an Associate Professor at AU for 15 years. He was more than a professor, as he often followed the career of former students and took joy in their success. Chuck loved the game of golf, and until he was physically unable do so, played as often as he could. He was an active member of the Ashland Country Club and served on the board as a treasurer.

He was the beloved father of William and daughter-in-law Resty of Largo, FL, Robert of Atlanta, GA, and Diane and son-in-law Bill Palladino of Sarasota, FL. He was the loving and proud grandfather of Geoffrey Stuck of Brooklyn, NY, Eric McCarthy of Tampa, FL and Marissa McCarthy of Atlanta, GA. Also surviving is the mother of his children, Jean Shilling of Bradenton, FL.
