Charles Wayne Parker, 75, of National Park, NJ passed away peacefully on April 4th surrounded by his family. Born in Philadelphia and raised in Barnsboro to the late Ellis and Elva (nee Ritchie) Parker. Charles is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Joanne (nee Pashantis); his son Charles R. Parker of National Parkand his late daughter Brenda Forenza. His sister Rolanna Brown and husband Carter, VA; and the late Patricia Carroll and husband Wayne, NC, Mort Parker and Barbara, ME, John Parker and Margaret, AL, Bud Parker and Kay, AZ and Dolores Parker, NJ. Brother-in-law to Judy Huszarski, NH and William Pashantis, NJ; and several nieces, nephews, and grandchildren (who he always referred to as “my kids”).

Charles attended Pitman High School and served in the army. Charles then spent several years as an over the road Truck Driver. He was known to pack up his wife and son and take them with him on his long cross country hauls. He loved the Phillies. He would watch all their games and attended many games with family. Charles spent many hours with his stamp collection. He loved to spend time with family and held his family very close to his heart. He was a devoted Husband, Father, Son, Brother, Uncle, Pop-pop, and friend to many. He would light up a room and had a smile of gold. Earth was a better place with him but Heaven is even more beautiful with such a loving angel. We love you and will miss you. Until we meet again.
