Charles W. McGee, 74, of Anderson, passed away January 10, 2014 at Community Hospital, Anderson. He was born May 23, 1939 in Gate City, Virginia and resided most of his life in Anderson.
Charles graduated from Gate City High School in Virginia. He was retired from General Motors. He was a minister of music and taught Sunday School.
Charles is survived by his loving spouse; Annette Goss McGee; children, Charles “Wayne” Jean McGee of Indianapolis, Barry Scott McGee of Noblesville, Trina McGee World Bert of Anderson, Julie M. McGee Tooley Thomas of Indianapolis, Rachelle McGee of Anderson, and Jaime Hernandez Leobrado of Anderson.
Charles was also survived by several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a sister Deloris, of Gate City, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his father, Ray McGee, and mother, Annie O. McGee.
