Charles Robert “Chuck” Thompson, age 75 of Center Point, AL passed away on October 29, 2013. A graduate of West End High School, Chuck also attended Auburn University. He is a veteran on the U.S. National Guard. Chuck worked for Rust Engineering for 35 years and was employed with KBR Global Engineering Construction and Services Company. A proud Papa and avid Auburn fan, Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Gladys Thompson. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Barbara Thompson; daughter, Dean Thompson Ray (Lance); Rick Thompson (Dawn); grandchildren, Brandon, Blake, Sydney, Tyler, Cole, and Kaylie; sister, Judy Thompson McCullers (Larry); and brother, Freddy Thompson (Bobbie).
