Charles Steven Mathews, 64, of Clyde died at his home on Monday, December 29, 2014.
Steve was born in Fremont on July 17, 1950 to Charles E. and Anna Bernice (Heyman) Mathews. He graduated in 1968 from Clyde High School and served in the US Army reserves.
In 2006, he retired from the Whirlpool Corp. He enjoyed boating, Clyde sports, his family, and Facebook.
On August 22, 1970, he married Kathleen Gill. She survives, along with their son, Eric (Jeannie) Mathews, Clyde; four grandchildren, Nathan Mathews, Taylor Gilbert, Dawson Gilbert and Bobbi Gilbert. Two sisters, Carol (Ron) Ray, Clyde and Susan (Asiel) Ramirez, Las Vegas also survive.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Charlotte Ludban.
