Charles H. (Chuck) Stempert age 78, longtime resident of Milford and beloved husband to the late Margaret Buda Stempert passed away on Wednesday, November 7, 2012. Born on February 9, 1934 in Bridgeport, he was the son of the late Wilbur and Elizabeth Polaski Stempert. Chuck served with pride and honor in the National Guard and, prior to his retirement, was an engineer at Sikorsky Aircraft. He enjoyed gardening, golfing and his dinners at Lasse’s Restaurant.
He is survived by his children James Stempert and his wife Marie of Oxford, Margaret Coyle of Milford, Victor Stempert of Beacon Falls and Amy Jackson of Milford. He is also survived by his grandchildren Christopher Stempert and wife, Shari, Jessica Rogers and husband Terrence, Larissa, Marrina, Nicholaus, Alexcia, Katrina Coyle, Joshua, Brian and Luke Jackson, and great-grandchildren Patrick and Elizabeth Stempert and Joseph and Arianna Rogers. He was pre-deceased by son Daniel Stempert and son-in-law Joseph Coyle.
