Charles Sewell, Jr., 79, of Fortville, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born December 8, 1937 in Indianapolis to the late Charles Sewell, Sr. and Gladys (Bunker) Sewell.
Charles had worked as a truck driver for many years, first driving his own dump truck and driving for Liquid Transport Corporation and then retiring from V&S Trucking. Charles is survived by his son Bryan C. (Lori) Sewell of Fishers; step-daughters Angie (Larry) Meece of Greenfield and Debbie (Fred) Allgood of McCordsville; step-son Kevin Woods of NY, NY; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Delores A. (Fippen) Sewell in 2011.
