Norwich – Charles Frank Rossoll, Jr., 90, of Ox Hill Rd., died Saturday, July 23, 2016 at home surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband of the late Doreen (Orme) Rossoll. Born in Norwich, he was the son of the late Charles F. Rossoll Sr. and Mabel (Jones) Rossoll.
Chuck graduated from Norwich Free Academy in 1944. He served in the Navy during World War II where he was involved with testing of the atomic bomb on Bikini Island. When he came home, he married Doreen, his high school sweetheart, and went on to receive his degree in electrical engineering from Northeastern University.
