84, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 25, 2011. He was a devoted and loving husband, brother, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Charlie was preceded in death by parents Harry and Margaret Rosenfield, son Richard Rosenfield, and great-granddaughter Hannah Nordstrom. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dolores, his brother Harry Jr. (Jean), his sons Steve (Susie), Joe (Lexie), David (Jeanette), and Chuck (Wendy), and his daughters Chris Brannan (Mike), and Anne Williams (Jeff). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; Michael Brannan (Rachel), Mary Norstrom (Mike), Matthew Brannan, Mark Brannan, Wendy DuPlanty (Bruce), Zachery Rosenfield, A.J. Rosenfield, Ryan Rosenfield, Kyle Rosenfield, Tyler Rosenfield, Brian Rosenfield (Lin), Michael Rosenfield, Scott Rosenfield (Karissa), Jordan Rosenfield, Alyssa Williams, Kaitlyn Williams, Cole Williams, Julia Williams, and Ella Williams, and nine great-grandchildren; Patrick Brannan, Lyla Brannan, Molly Nordstrom, Charlie Nordstrom, Ellie DuPlanty, Oliver DuPlanty, Cody Rosenfield, Kate Rosenfield, and Paige Rosenfield. Charlie was born on June 25, 1927 in Rock Island, Illinois. He graduated from Saint Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa and the University of Arizona graduate school. After serving a year in the army during WWII, Charlie was honorably discharged. He went on to become a dedicated music teacher of 35 years in the Madison School District in Phoenix. Charlie also belonged to the Phoenix Orpheus Male Chorus for 54 years and was a member of the The Musician’s Union. His musical talent was heard by WWII army cadets, many people all over the states, as well as many people overseas.
