Charles Richard Herrin, age 70, of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin passed away on Friday, July 15, 2022 at his residence.
Charles was born on April 22, 1952 in Wisconsin to Willard C. (Shirley) Herrin, Jr. He went on to receive his GED and a certificate in auto body and was an accomplished mechanic. He loved fast, classic cars. He also enjoyed wood working, hunting, fishing, boating, and rides in the country.
He is survived by his life partner of 32 years, Judith A. Dahms; his mother: Shirley A. Herrin; daughters from his first marriage: Sara (David Slowinski), and Roberta Jo (Joseph Lawver); sons from his second marriage: Bryan Herrin, and Richard Herrin; step-son from his second marriage: Tim; many grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; brothers: Phillip, Randall, and Bradley; sisters: Kathy, and Laurie; and many nieces and nephews.
Charles was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Willard C., Sr., and Almina Herrin; maternal grandparents: John and Ruth Monk; father: Willard C. Herrin, Jr., and sister Cynda L. Collier.
