Charles R. Davidson age 76, of Ashland, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021 at UH Parma Medical Center. He was born August 25, 1944 in Sarasota, Fl., the son of the late Robert and Mildred (Mikloda) Davidson. He was a 1962 graduate of Firelands High School. Charles had been employed with the Ford Motor Company of Lorain, Ohio for 33 years before retiring in 1997. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, a former member of H.O.G. and the UAW Local 425. He was also in the National Guard out of Norwalk, Ohio for 6 years. Charles was an avid sports fan who enjoyed watching NASCAR, Cleveland Browns and the Ohio State Buckeyes. He enjoyed restoring his Corvette which was his pride and joy and he always kept busy working outside in his yard.
On June 28, 1979 in Las Vegas Charles married his wife, Susan who survives. Also surviving are his children, Jenny (Mike) Cantor of Glouster, OH., Andy (Renee) Metcalf of Ashland, Brandy (Brent) Marriott of Bay Village, OH., and Kody Davidson of Ashland; grandchildren, Andrew Davidson, Nicole Davidson, Rodney Davidson, Drew Metcalf, Hanna Metcalf, Marissa Metcalf, Brooklyn Marriott, Britain Marriott, twins Beckham Marriott and Brenden Marriott; great grandchildren, Kiera Davidson, Braycen Davidson, Kelsey Davidson, Jake Davidson, Emerson Metcalf and Braelen Blackwell; along with his siblings James (Laura) Davidson of New London, Robert (Linda) Davidson of Oberlin and Dennis (Christina) Davidson of Oberlin.
