Charles Q. Kent Oakdale, CT – We sadly announce the passing of Charles Q. Kent, 55, of Oakdale on
Wednesday, October 3, 2012. Charlie was born on April 4, 1957 to Oliver and Therese (Quinn) Kent in
Norwich. He attended Montville High School. He was predeceased by his brother Robert. Charlie was
employed at the Submarine Base in Groton. He also enjoyed owning and operating excavation equipment.
Charlie enjoyed life to the fullest, his way. He had a love of the open road and was a spirited member of the Independent Riders Association Motorcycle Club, holding the title of Road Captain. He was most proud of his 1947 Indian Chief and 1969 LT-1 Corvette, which he drove conservatively through the surrounding towns of southeastern CT. He is survived by his parents of Montville, his loving sister Maggie and her husband Don of Block Island, many friends and relatives.
