Charles Navickas, 94, of Plainville, passed away on Wednesday August 31, 2011. He was the husband of the late Marie (Reilly) Navickas. Charles was born on March 16, 1917 in New Britain to the late Charles and Anna (Barvidas) Navickas.
Charles proudly served his country during WWII in the United States Army and Air Force. He was a decorated Veteran who never lost his patriotism. He was a longtime New Britain resident and moved to Plainville in 1986. He was a devoted husband and family man and will be missed greatly.
He leaves his daughter Marlene Tobin and her husband James of Plainville; 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter Agnes Lacasse and a brother Albert Navickas.
